SextingAI ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

Given the sensitive nature of our platform — adult AI companion chat — we treat privacy with exceptional care. We have designed our systems to minimize data collection and maximize your control over your information.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (required for account creation)
• Password (stored as a cryptographic hash — we cannot read it)
• Age verification confirmation (boolean — we store that you verified, not your ID)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers)

Usage Data

• Conversation history (encrypted, stored only for your benefit — to enable memory)
• AI character preferences and configurations you create
• Platform usage patterns (anonymized — pages visited, features used)
• Device type and browser (for technical compatibility)

What We Do NOT Collect

• Government-issued ID or identity documents
• Real name (unless you choose to provide it to an AI character)
• Location beyond country-level for legal compliance
• Biometric data
• Social media profiles or cross-platform tracking

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to:

• Provide and operate the Sexting AI platform
• Enable persistent memory for your AI companions (conversation history)
• Process your payments via Stripe
• Send essential account communications (security alerts, billing receipts)
• Enforce our Terms of Service, including age verification requirements
• Improve platform performance using anonymized, aggregate usage data

We do not: sell your data to third parties, use your conversations for advertising targeting, train AI models on your personal chat content, or share your information with data brokers.

4. Encryption & Security

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. All stored data — including conversation history — is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Your password is hashed using bcrypt with appropriate cost factors and is never stored in readable form.

Our infrastructure undergoes regular security audits. We maintain a vulnerability disclosure program and respond to legitimate security reports within 72 hours.

5. Conversation Privacy

Your chat history with AI companions is private to you and is not reviewed, accessed, or analyzed by our team in routine operations. Conversation content exists solely to:

• Enable the AI to remember your history and provide continuity
• Store messages for your access across devices

Exceptional access may occur only in response to valid legal orders from courts of appropriate jurisdiction. We will notify you of any such requests unless legally prohibited from doing so.

6. Third-Party Services

We use a limited set of trusted third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe does not receive or store your chat history. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection. Receives anonymized traffic metadata only.
• AWS — encrypted cloud infrastructure. Does not have access to your decrypted content.

We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools that share your data with third parties.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update inaccurate personal information
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data permanently. This can be done from Account Settings → Delete Account.
• Export: Download a copy of your conversation history in a portable format
• Objection: Opt out of any non-essential data processing

8. Cookies

We use minimal cookies strictly necessary for platform operation:

• Session authentication cookies (required to stay logged in)
• User preference cookies (theme, language settings)

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or any cookies that share your data with external parties. You can block cookies in your browser, though this may affect login functionality.

9. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Conversation history is retained to enable memory features. When you delete your account, all personal data including conversation history is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely as they contain no personal information.
